Belmont High School is a large single campus co-educational State secondary school with over 1200 students enrolled. Students are encouraged to achieve excellence and are supported by caring, highly qualified and expert educational staff. The school is committed to global education and offers a diverse academic experience, supported by international exchange and extensive extra-curricular programs and boasts a strong history of academic success.
The school is accredited to offer a Select Entry Accelerated Learning Program for gifted and talented students. Our school hosts the BioLab (Victorian Bioscience Education Centre) that is a state-wide specialist sports and health science centre.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE CENTRE
The onsite English Language Centre provides all our overseas students from non-English speaking backgrounds with a sound and positive preparation for the commencement of education in Australia. Our highly qualified, experienced and supportive teachers develop and deliver intensive English language instruction at secondary level. Class sizes are small, while contact hours are high. Students adapt quickly to the Australian education system and culture.
To ensure the safety, security and happiness for our International Students, our school arranges and continually monitors the student’s homestay. Students are provided with: airport pick up, a caring & supportive family who encourages and assists students with their academic progress and provides international students with a range of social & cultural experiences to enrich their lives.
